With a MA in Strategic Foresight from Regent University and 20+ years of foresight implementation, I weave both the academic and business worlds into my holistic approach to futures development. In 2009, I founded Kedge, a foresight, innovation, creativity, and strategic design firm. Shortly thereafter, I was asked to create and lead instruction of The Futures Institute: Shaping The Future Now at the Duke University Talent Identification Program Institute, teaching students to use Futures Thinking and foresight to develop transformative solutions to grand challenges. I’ve worked on Strategic Foresight projects for companies such as Kraft, Mars, Marriott, and The Walt Disney Company. Specifically, Kedge led the effort to establish foresight as a leadership competency across The Walt Disney Company, training over 300 employees across the globe. In 2015, The Futures School was born to provide a global learning ecosystem with the mission to democratize foresight. I am a member of the World Futures Society (WFS) and Association for Professional Futurists (APF).
