A series applying the Inner Development Goals to foresight and futures thinking.
Weekly on The Wicked Opportunities® Podcast.
The Inner Development Goals (IDGs) is a not for profit open source initiative. Their work was inspired by the lack of inner capacity to deal with our increasingly complex environment and challenges. Their research shows that the inner abilities we now all need to reach the Sustainable Development Goals can be developed. This was the starting point for the ‘Inner Development Goals’ initiative.
At TFSX, we also believe mindsets must be reframed in order to bring about sustainable and regenerative change, and the 23 skills and qualities that make up the Inner Development Goals are the same skills that are needed to be a rigorous futures thinker. That’s why, as part of our year of transformation, we are diving into the IDG framework.
23 and Me is a podcast series that examines the ways that foresight provides the practical context towards the implementation and evolution of the IDGs. Each week, Wicked Opportunities hosts Yvette Montero Salvatico and Frank Spencer focus on one skill in the IDG framework.
As with all of TFSX offerings, this series is fueled by Natural Foresight ® with the goal of understanding how futures thinking and regenerative complexity empower the 23 IDG skills.
The 23 IDG skills are divided into five dimensions. The 23 and Me series will examine one skill each week on The Wicked Opportunities Podcast.
You can catch our hosts live on their YouTube channel once a month and chat about the next dimension of skills.
